One day trip to New York

On Sunday, my friends and I took a train to New York. After leaving Grand Central Station, we strolled through the streets of Manhattan. The midday sun was scorching, its rays felt like needles on our skin. We walked all the way to Central Park.

Later, we headed to the Lyric Theatre to watch the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage show. It was a magnificent theater, seating about a thousand people, almost all of which were filled. The interior was elegant and beautiful, with an extraordinary atmosphere. The Harry Potter stage show was absolutely breathtaking, the most spectacular I’ve ever seen. The lighting and sound effects were perfect, and three and a half hours flew by in an instant.

After the play, we visited Times Square, which was bustling with people. After taking some photos, we left.

Next, we took the subway to Chinatown. My first impression of New York's Chinatown was that it was dirty and chaotic, completely different from those in China. We found a Chinese restaurant, had dinner, and then left.

Finally, we took the subway to Madison Square Garden, but we didn’t know how to get inside, so we just had a brief look around the outside.
